DON’T LEAVE THEM ALONE
A 7.7-magnitude earthquake has devastated Myanmar, a country already suffering from extreme poverty. Thousands of people have lost everything, left with a fragile and insufficient healthcare system, unable to cope with an emergency of this scale.
We at MedAcross, a Turin-based NGO that operates quietly yet effectively worldwide, are already on the ground. For years, we have been providing medical care to the most remote villages, reaching forgotten communities by land and sea. Now, in the face of this catastrophe, Myanmar needs help.
In Myanmar, there are injured children, mothers holding their little ones with nowhere to turn, and elderly people left alone among the rubble. The suffering is immense, but we cannot look away.
Every contribution matters. Even a small donation can provide essential medical care to those who have lost everything. MedAcross won’t stop, but we need you.
We provide free medical check-ups and medicines to communities living far from hospitals. Support and care for abused girls and street orphans. Education for children in poor schools in the savannah. Professional training for young doctors in countries that need to grow.
We offer free medical consultations and medicines to communities living far from hospitals in the south of the world.
We train local medical personnel to facilitate access to care.
